House (2024)
This short is an expansion upon my previous short "Peter and The Wolf," using the same materials (charcoal and tracing paper). For this film I wanted to focus on the concept of objects having a "gaze." We can look at something that is not alive and it can still look back at us.
The primary animation was done through modified-base. I animated piles of charcoal dust on top of a background. This can be seen in the animation of all of the living creatures.
This project was made over the course of four months, as one of two semester-projects in my Junior year at RISD.
Below are some of my original concept sketches.

Peter and The Wolf (2023)
This short is an experiment in under-the-camera animation using graphite and tracing paper. I was particularly interested in texture and movement during this process. It is very loosely inspired by the story of Peter and the Wolf, and serves like somewhat of a sketch to be built upon in future works.
It features "Songs from Friday Afternoons, Op. 7: 'Cuckoo!'" by Benjamin Britten.
